Our Centennial will take place on the 22th - 24th October 2021
We invite all who have had an involvement with the school to be part of our celebrations

Please select events and memorabilia to purchase and deposit the total cost of your events into the bank account provided.
It promises to be a truly special weekend, an opportunity to honour alumni and share memories of teaching and learning at St Mark's school over 100 years
St Mark’s School Centennial Programme 2021
Friday 22th October
Open Half Day 11:30am – 2:00pm
Powhiri 11:30am
This event will be followed by a small kapa haka choir performance. You will then enjoy light refreshments before the opportunity to see our classrooms in action.
Registration and Connect 4:00pm – 9:00pm
Registration Packs can be collected on arrival. When you collect your pack you will need to pay for any merchandise or memorabilia that you have ordered during the registration process.
Connect in the school hall
You will have paid for this event through the registration process and be treated to delicious canapés and a range of refreshments as you connect with alumni and share memories of St Mark’s School.
Saturday 23th October
Registration Continues at 9:30pm
St Mark’s School welcome 10:00am -10:30am
Current students will welcome you, there will be musical items and cutting of the centennial cake
Decade photos at school 10:30am – 12:30pm
This is an important opportunity to capture all current and past alumni, staff, students, board members, PA Member and honour their contribution to the school. A professional photographer will be on site.
School Picnic 12:30pm – 5:00pm
A Family afternoon where current and past alumni connect. There will be games and bouncy castles, food stalls for your convenience and a relaxes atmosphere to share memories
Bring your own picnic, BBQ sausages will be provided by the Parents’ Association.
Photo viewing in the school hall 2:00pm – 3:00pm
During this time you can view the photos taken across the decades and locate members of your Whānau.
Centennial Dinner 7:00pm Christchurch Transitional Cathedral
This promises to be the highlight of the weekend with Movable Feasts as our caterers. Musical items, speeches and memory sharing will intersect with this wonderful meal. This is an adult only event.
